Welcome to RX Chauffeurs, your premier chauffeur service in London. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") outline the rules and regulations for booking and using our transportation services. By accessing or using our services, including our website, app, or booking via phone or email, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. APPLICATION

• 1.1 These Terms apply to all services provided by RX Chauffeurs and define the relationship between RX Chauffeurs and its Customers.
• 1.2 These Terms, along with any referenced documents, represent the entire agreement between RX Chauffeurs and its Customers and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
• 1.3 By booking with RX Chauffeurs, you agree to these legally binding Terms.

2. DEFINITIONS

• 2.1 "Company" refers to RX Chauffeurs, located at [Insert Address].
• 2.2 "Customer(s)" means individuals or entities who make bookings for transportation services with RX Chauffeurs.
• 2.3 "Fare(s)" denotes the fee charged for the provision of transportation services.
• 2.4 "Transportation Service(s)" refers to chauffeur-driven rides from a collection point to a destination point as booked by Customers.
• 2.5 "Additional Charges" include any ancillary fees such as surcharges, cancellation fees, parking charges, congestion charges, or other extra costs.

2. DEFINITIONS

• 2.2 "Customer(s)" means individuals or entities who make bookings for transportation services with RX Chauffeurs.
• 2.3 "Fare(s)" denotes the fee charged for the provision of transportation services.

SERVICE TERMS

3. BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

• 3.1 Bookings must be made in advance via our website, app, phone, or email.
• 3.2 A booking is only considered confirmed once RX Chauffeurs has issued a confirmation to the Customer.
• 3.3 Customers may cancel a booking, but cancellation fees may apply:
  • - If cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a full refund is issued.
  • - If cancelled between 12 and 24 hours before the service, a 50% refund is issued.
  • - If cancelled within 12 hours, or in case of a no-show, the fare is non-refundable.
• 3.4 RX Chauffeurs reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion, in compliance with applicable laws.

4. PAYMENT TERMS

• 4.1 Payment is required upon completion of the service unless the Customer has an approved credit account with RX Chauffeurs.
• 4.2 Payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods. We accept most major credit cards.
• 4.3 All prices are exclusive of VAT, which is applied at the prevailing rate.
• 4.4 For wedding bookings, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before the event.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

• 5.1 Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when booking and must ensure all details are correct.
• 5.2 Customers are responsible for any damage they cause to the vehicle during the provision of the service and may be billed for repairs or cleaning costs.
• 5.3 Customers must ensure they and their belongings are ready for pickup at the agreed time and location.
• 5.4 Customers should not bring illegal or hazardous items into the vehicle.

RX Chauffeurs CARS OBLIGATIONS

6. COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 6.1 RX Chauffeurs aims to provide a professional and reliable service, but cannot guarantee specific arrival or departure times due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• 6.2 The Company reserves the right to change the assigned vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
• 6.3 RX Chauffeurs will travel by the most appropriate route on the day unless instructed otherwise by the Customer.
• 6.4 The Company maintains a strict no-smoking policy in all its vehicles.
• 6.5 RX Chauffeurs has the right to refuse transportation to any customer who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or whose behaviour is deemed unsafe.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

7. LIABILITY

• 7.1 RX Chauffeurs is not liable for any loss or damage to customers' personal belongings carried in our vehicles.
• 7.2 The Company is not responsible for delays or non-performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, or other force majeure events.
• 7.3 The Company has appropriate insurance coverage for its operations, including third-party liability. However, Customers are responsible for ensuring their belongings.

8. LOST PROPERTY

• 8.1 RX Chauffeurs will maintain a lost property register at its office. If you believe you have left something in one of our vehicles, please contact us to arrange a collection.
• 8.2 Items not claimed within a reasonable period will be disposed of according to applicable laws.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

9. DATA PROTECTION

• 9.1 RX Chauffeurs complies with all data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

COMPLAINTS AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

10. COMPLAINTS

• 10.1 If you have any complaints about our services, please contact us as soon as possible. We aim to resolve all complaints amicably and fairly.
• 10.2 Customers have the right to escalate complaints to the appropriate authorities if they are unsatisfied with the resolution provided by RX Chauffeurs.

11. CONSUMER RIGHTS

• 11.1 Customers have statutory rights regarding the quality and professionalism of services. These rights are not affected by these Terms. If you require assistance, contact the Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

• 12.1 All intellectual property rights related to RX Chauffeurs, including trademarks and copyrights, are owned by the Company or its affiliates.
• 12.2 Customers must not use or reproduce any of RX Chauffeurs's intellectual property without express permission.

JURISDICTION

13. GOVERNING LAW

• 13.1 These Terms are governed by and interpreted by the laws of England.
• 13.2 Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
